Moore's Bicycle Shop
Meet the Staff

James Moore - CEO/Owner
I’d like to say that I’ve been in love with the bicycle ever since the trainings wheels came off but I honestly don’t think I ever owned a bike with training wheels. I do remember being pushed up to speed and then wobbling until I learned how to keep my hands and knees off the asphalt.

Different folks benefit in different ways from cycling. Some like the social aspect or the adrenaline rush of competition, but I’ve always relied on the power of cycling to help me better hear the voice within. Someone once said that the best ride is one that takes your mind to a place it’s never been before. I tend to agree.

Chris Baugh - Manager
Chris came to us in August of 2002. Chris knew nothing about bicycles when he started almost 5 years ago, but now he's quite comfortable on the ropes. Chris loves both mountain biking and road biking. Well, he loves road biking, and he loves the idea of being a mountain biker until he gets out and does it. He has an odd affinity for flying into trees.

Jenny Colvin - Mechanic
In 2005, Jenny received her bicycle mechanic certification at the Barnette's Bicycle Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. She enjoys both on and off road cycling, but mainly just enjoys casually riding around her neighborhood. Jenny says of herself, "I think I got my passion for bikes from my dad (James Moore), who grew up loving them. He taught me bikes, and I taught him patience. The bike shop environment is like a family to me, and I look forward to many more years here in the bicycle industry."
Amanda Soward - Sales
Hey I'm Amanda! I'm a senior here at USM studying International Business. Go Eagles!!! On the side I enjoy working at Moore's selling cycling products. If you need a new bike or want some fun upgrades or add-ons for your bike then come see me. On my days off I enjoy wake boarding as well as riding motorcycles.
Will Adams - Assembly
Will is our newest member of the team. He's a piano performance major at Southern, and when he's not practicing piano or assembling bikes, he's dreaming of the TCR Advanced SL that he will one day own. Oh, and just to dispel any of the rumors floating around, Will doesn't like cardboard or chocolate.
